Camping Checklist

The following items are recommended for every pack campout. We have plenty of extra gear available, talk to your den leader or a pack leader if you need anything.

  • Tent and ground cover
  • Sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad/air mattress/cot
  • Clothes (and extra clothes!)
  • Activities/Class B Uniform (pack T-shirt)
  • Field/Class A Uniform (only for Camp La-No-Che or when specified)
  • Toiletries
  • Mess Kit: cup, bowl, plate, knife, fork, spoon
  • Bug repellant (treat clothes with Permethrin and bring topical repellant, picaridin is recommended)
  • Camping chair
  • Jacket
  • Poncho
  • Towel
  • Close toed shoes
  • Daypack
  • Cub Scout Six Essentials
    • First aid kit
    • Water bottle
    • Flashlight
    • Trail food
    • Sun protection (sunscreen and hat)
    • Whistle
  • Pocket knife (only for Scouts who have earned their Knife Safety Adventure for the current year)
  • If you choose not to eat pack supplied meals
    • Food
    • Cooler
    • Ice
    • Camping stove (or you can use the pack kitchen)
    • Cooking utensils (or you can use the pack kitchen)​
