Camping Checklist
The following items are recommended for every pack campout. We have plenty of extra gear available, talk to your den leader or a pack leader if you need anything.
- Tent and ground cover
- Sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad/air mattress/cot
- Clothes (and extra clothes!)
- Activities/Class B Uniform (pack T-shirt)
- Field/Class A Uniform (only for Camp La-No-Che or when specified)
- Toiletries
- Mess Kit: cup, bowl, plate, knife, fork, spoon
- Bug repellant (treat clothes with Permethrin and bring topical repellant, picaridin is recommended)
- Camping chair
- Jacket
- Poncho
- Towel
- Close toed shoes
- Daypack
- Cub Scout Six Essentials
- First aid kit
- Water bottle
- Flashlight
- Trail food
- Sun protection (sunscreen and hat)
- Whistle
- Pocket knife (only for Scouts who have earned their Knife Safety Adventure for the current year)
- If you choose not to eat pack supplied meals
- Food
- Cooler
- Ice
- Camping stove (or you can use the pack kitchen)
- Cooking utensils (or you can use the pack kitchen)
